Guest Lecture by filmmaker Fred Kuwornu
On Friday February 19th at 1:00pm PST, C.I.A.O. (Club Italiano American Organizzato) will be hosting a guest speaker event where each of you will have the chance to meet filmmaker Fred Kuwornu. You will be able to listen to Mr. Kuwornu discuss why entrepreneurship became an important strategy for Black Italian Youth who were seeking to share narratives about Blackness within the Italian material culture. The lecture will be in English with Q&A immediately following. It will be hosted through Zoom and everyone who attends will have their name entered into a raffle. At the end of this quarter, C.I.A.O will be selecting one winner who will win a $25 gift card!
